From May 4-7, 2012 it will be host to the first annual Frieze Art Fair New York, "one of the world’s most influential contemporary art fairs, housed in a bespoke structure," like its London predecessor. Designers of the bespoke structure are Brooklyn's Solid Objectives-Idenburg Liu (SO-IL).

The top-right image is the only one currently available describing the design. Yet with the date of the fair less than two months away shots of the completed building will be fast coming. The design appears to be a gabled structure that follows the Harlem River and inserts itself between it and Icahn Stadium. SO-IL explains:
We devised a slightly mutated pie-shaped tent section, using “wedges” which we inserted into the structure at five locations. From the outside, they allow us to bend the otherwise straight tent into a meandering, supple, shape.Update: Architizer has a rendering of the interior on their blog.
